Home Learning
Read Write Inc.

We adopt Read Write Inc. within School with our children reading and writing each day in varying contexts.
Your child has their own Reading Record and will bring home a banded reading book each
Wednesday. They may also access e-books to share at home using our class login to Oxford Owl.
Your child has their Fred Book in which we add sounds and key words each Wednesday to practise at home.
Please note, at present all Reading Records, Reading Books and Fred Books are collected in each Monday, updated and put in book bags each Wednesday.

Reception

Your child will develop and learn so much through Reception. Play is an essential part of teaching and much of your child's learning will be through play, whether initiated by themselves or guided by adults.
We have a range of topics throughout the year with focus texts and our Book of the Week.
We are a partnership, with the same hopes and aspirations for your child, hence we welcome and value your input. We love to share learning at home either via Tapestry or by your child bringing items in.
