Year 3 pupils will have two reading books. They will be given a banded book, and they will also choose a book from the class library.
Reading books will be changed every Monday.
We have made bookmarks so we know which child has brought their book back, please ensure the bookmark stays in your child’s book.

Reading
Mighty metals are everywhere! From earrings to rockets, metals have shaped the world we live in today. This half term, we’re going to become fantastic physicists and engineers, exploring the world of forces, metals and materials.
Year 3 Curriculum
Spellings
Spellings will be uploaded to Spelling Shed every Friday for the children to learn for the spelling quiz the following Thursday.
Thank you for your support in helping your child to learn and remember their weekly spelling words.
PE
Year 3 have PE on a Wednesday.
Please ensure that your child comes into school wearing their PE kit on this day.
